EFM bucket elevators are available in both continuous or centrifugal discharge in belt or chain to best suit your specific application and meet the needs of many industries, such as aggregate, Cement, Chemical, Minerals Processing, Mining, Food, Wood Products, Wastewater Treatment, and many more industries for elevating bulk materials.
Our experts at EFM can custom design your bucket elevator using your existing standards to streamline maintenance and inventory. EFM Bucket elevators are available in either belt or chain and our buckets are available in a variety of materials.
We have incorporated several features to ensure that our bucket elevators are robustly designed and are long lasting. The head section of the bucket elevator features either an internal or external backstop to prevent to prevent reverse rotation due to loss of drive. Several inspection doors are available throughout the bucket elevator to ensure ease of observation, maintenance and adjustment.
In centrifugal bucket elevators, inlets can feed either on the down-leg or up-leg side. A direct feed on the up-leg side of the elevator loads the buckets in continuous bucket elevators. Furthermore, our bucket elevators feature a split removable hood, an inspection hatch for easy maintenance and installation of the chain and sprockets. The drive package can be customized to your current standards to reduce the number of skews. The head sprocket features teeth that are induction hardened and replaceable in segments. Heavy outboard spherical roller bearings are also used.
To be more reliable, safe and prevent potential leaking, EFM bucket elevators come standard with an internal gravity take-up. Manual take up is available on request. Safety instrumentation is standard in EFM bucket elevators. The bucket elevator also comes with heavy duty take up frames and removable boot panels for sprocket or pulley maintenance.
