Galvanized Steel Pipe Rack for a pharmaceutical company

Overview:

A pharmaceutical company in France installed a new chilled water system at one of its plants.  As part of the installation, a pipe rack was required to arrange the utility pipelines and cables between the equipment and a building. The hot-tip galvanized steel rack was subcontracted to our group and was about 20m long, 8.5m high and was fixed to the ground at two points.

Software Used:

  • Structural analysis and design – STAAD.Pro
  • 3D modeling – Autodesk Inventor
  • 2D drafting - AutoCAD.

The design and engineering analysis was carried out by EFM Design Services while the structure was fabricated and erected by our European partner, Greening Services.
